Palazzo della Ragione is a medieval town hall. The building was completed in 1306. The hall is decorated are with allegorical frescoes. Very famous is the huge house situated in the center of the hall.
The palace divides "Piazza delle Erbe" from "Piazza della Frutta". These two are important squares where usually take place open-air markets.
University of Padua - Bo palace
University of Padua was founded in 1222 as branch of the University of Bologna. It's one of the oldest university in the world. From 1493 Bo palace is the headquarters of university. Moreover the palace host the Anathomical theatre of Padua.
The guided tour of Palazzo Bo includes the anatomical theatre, the Galileo Galilei’s Aula Magna, the Sala dei Quaranta (The “Hall of the Forty”) and the Aula di Medicina (where lectures on medicine were originally given).It can be visited from Monday to Saturday.
Il Palazzo Zuckermann venne realizzato tra il 1912 e il 1914 su committenza del cavalier Enrico Zuckermann, importante industriale di quel tempo.
Il Palazzo ospita al piano terra il museo delle Arti Applicate e al primo piano il museo Bottacin. Inoltre si può accedere al cortile dove sono conservati i resti delle vecchie mura della città.
